Integral University convocation: Degrees, medals awarded to meritorious students
LUCKNOW : Integral University, Lucknow organised its 10th convocation on Friday.
Dr Trilochan Mohapatra, secretary, department of agriculture and farmers’ welfare, government of India, was the chief guest on the occasion.
As many as 1,973 degrees were given to meritorious students. These included 69 PhDs, 489 PGs, 1,367 UGs and 48 diplomas in pharmacy. Forty-five gold and silver medals were given to toppers.
The ceremony began with the ‘University Tarana’, which set the tone of this convocation.
Professor Aqil Ahmad, acting vice-chancellor, declared the convocation “open” and expressed his regards to the presiding guests and dignitaries on the occasion.
He mentioned various achievements of Integral University in recent years and reinforced that the institution always strived to be a centre of excellence.
“Integral University has advanced a lot in academic research and development activities. It has achieved vertical growth over a short period of time,” said the vice-chancellor.
Speaking on the occasion, Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation MD Kumar Keshav said, “One must always live with utmost integrity.” He wished students and teachers all the success in life.
