LUCKNOW : Doctors themselves must follow a healthy lifestyle so that they could serve more people for a longer period and also set an example for their patients, said experts at the two-day 40th national conference of the National Medicos Organisation (NMO) that began at the scientific convention centre here on Saturday.

By remaining fit, doctors would motivate their patients to follow suit, they said. “A lot of money is spent on the education of a medical professional. Long and healthy life of a doctor will ensure he/she remains active for long and serves more patients,” said Dr Ashok Kumavat of SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
