CM praises his govt for providing infrastructure to Vantangia tribe
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday praised his government for providing basic facilities and infrastructure to the people of Vantangia tribe for the first time since Independence.
“It was only after our government came to power, the villages of Vantangia tribe got roads and other facilities. None of the previous governments in the last 70 years bothered to provide them with the basic infrastructure that we gave them,” he said while addressing the gathering during the annual convention of Prantiya Vikas Seva Sangh, organised at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan here on Friday.
Motivating the office bearers of the Vikas Seva Sangh Yogi said the state government can achieve the difficult target of constructing 11,53,000 residences with the help of team spirit.
“If we do our job properly, people will remember us. If not, then they will say it’s good that we are no longer in power ,” he said while taking a dig at the previous governments, which he blamed for bringing no development to the state. He went on to say that in the previous SP government’s regime, the money under MNREGA was not utilised properly.
“Our government has not only utilised it in a productive way but also revamped the dying rivers. We also revamped shelter homes with the same fund which no other government did,” he added.
He further told the officers, “No job is big or small, just make sure you do your work properly.”
