‘LAX OFFICIALS WILL BE IDENTIFIED’

LUCKNOW : Excise minister Jai Pratap Singh on Sunday said the principal secretary, excise, and the excise commissioner had been directed to identify the officers and employees due to whose slackness an illicit liquor racket flourished in Saharanpur, Kushinagar and other districts. Expressing grief over the large number of deaths, he said strict action will be taken against the officers and employees’ responsible for the hooch tragedy, he said.
