State govt transfers 28 IPS, 107 PCS officers

LUCKNOW: The state government on Sunday transferre­d 28 IPS and 107 PCS officers. The transferre­d IPS officers include superinten­dents of police of 13 districts. Sanjiv Gupta has been made IG, Ayodhya zone while Sujit Pandey will take over as general staff officer (GSO) at the DGP office. Omkar Singh has been attached to DGP office while Manoj Tiwari has been made DIG, Azamgarh range.

LUCKNOW: The state government on Sunday transferre­d 28 IPS and 107 PCS officers.

The transferre­d IPS officers include superinten­dents of police of 13 districts.

Sanjiv Gupta has been made IG, Ayodhya zone while Sujit Pandey will take over as general staff officer (GSO) at the DGP office. Omkar Singh has been attached to DGP office while Manoj Tiwari has been made DIG, Azamgarh range. Vijay Bhusan has been shifted as DIG, technical services.

Ashish Tiwari will now take over as SP Jaunpur while SP, Mahoba, Kunwar Anupam Singh will join as commandant, 23rd battalion, PAC, Moradabad.

Dinesh Pal Singh has been made DIG (railways) and Swami Nath has been shifted to Mahoba as SP.

Santosh Kumar Mishra has been made Etawah SSP while Anil Kumar Mishra has been transferre­d as SP, Fatehgarh.

Ashok Kumar Tripathi has been made SSP of Badaun and Ashok Kumar–III will join as SP (regional intelligen­ce) in Bareilly.

Virendra Kumar Mishra has been shifted as SP, Ambedkar Nagar, while Shalini has been asked to join as SP (UP 100), in Lucknow.

Madhav Prasad Verma will take over as SP (Unnao), Harish Kumar has been made DIG (PTS) Gorakhpur in Gorakhpur, and Kailash Singh will join as SP, Fatehpur.

Rahul Raj has been made SP (CB-CID) Lucknow while Swami Prasad will join as SP, Jalaun.

Arvind Chaturvedi will take over as the new SP of Ghazipur.

Swapnil Mamgain will take over as SSP, Etah, while Yashvir Singh has been appointed SP, Hapur.

Sankalp Sharma will take over as SP, security headquarte­rs, Lucknow and Pankaj Kumar will go to Basti as the superinten­dent of police.

Dilip Kumar has been shifted as DIG, PTS, Sitapur.

Vishambhar Dayal Shukla has been given the additional charge of SIT along with the EOW (Economic Offences Wing). Ghule Sushil Chandrabha­n will take over as SSP (SIT) in Kanpur.

Besides, the government also transferre­d 107 senior officers of the Provincial Civil Services (PCS).

A senior state government officer said the officers had been transferre­d on the directions of the Election Commission.

The Commission had directed the state government to transfer those officers who had completed three years of posting in their respective district or division.
