Wait on Ram temple will be over soon, says dy CM Maurya
PRAYAGRAJ : Day after Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath hinted of possible ‘good news’ on Ayodhya temple issue, deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya built on it saying that the ongoing hearings in the Supreme Court on the issue has made everyone ‘optimistic.’
“The development that remained elusive during the 70 years of rule of various opposition parties has been made possible by the BJP government in just two years. Now, the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is near as the hearings in the Supreme Court has made us very optimistic of a favourable result,” Maurya said. He was speaking at a public meeting in his native village in Sirathu where he had visited on his father Shyam Lal Maurya’s death anniversary on Sunday. “A grand temple of Lord Ram has been the dream of millions of Ram bhakts. The wait would be over soon,” he said at the public meeting while supporting Adityanath’s statement that ‘good news’ on temple front was round the corner. Maurya also targeted the previous Samajwadi Party and BSP governments.
“They ruined the state during their rule,” he said. Maurya said under PM Narendra Modi’s stewardship, the country was touching the new heights of development. “Different schemes like Saubhagya Yojna, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjawala Yojna were benefitting the people. The poor are also benefitted with schemes like swchhbharat, toilet construction and availability of houses under PM Awas Yojana,” he said.
Meanwhile a ‘Kalash Yatra’ was also taken out from Ram Janki Mandir at Shakuntala Kunj Colony on Sunday for the early construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya. The ‘yatra’ marched for around 5 kilometers and was attended by hundreds of devotees who prayed for a decision in favour of a Ram Temple.
The devotees also installed the idols of Lord Ram sita, Krishna, Radha and Bholenath and raised religious slogans. Dr Arun Mishra, Santosh Bajpai, Varun Srivastava and others attended the ‘yatra’.
