The police called it a case of suicide though an investigation was on in the case.

Inspector in-charge of Baror police station, Digvijay Singh said: “The 15-year-old went missing soon after the next-door family accused him of raping their 14-year-old daughter while the family members of both the families were away.

The boy left home as the neighbours confronted his family. In the evening, they filed an FIR against the boy for rape. Today morning his body was found hanging from a neem tree on the village outskirts.”

A fellow villager said that the mothers of both the boy and the girl were away to nearby Pukhrayan for work on Thursday morning. The girl’s mother on returning home in the afternoon found the girl’s clothes bloodstained. When asked what had happened to her, she accused the boy of rape. The girl’s mother confronted the boy and his family. The boy left the scene and did not return home. The police said they are investigating the case, getting a medical test done on the girl, and getting her medical treatment.

THE POLICE CALLED IT A CASE OF SUICIDE THOUGH AN INVESTIGATION WAS ON IN THE CASE.
