Prayagraj eyes 5 world records on PM’s Feb 29 visit
PRAYAGRAJ :Preparations are on to set five new world records, with the final schedule of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on Saturday being received by the district administration on Thursday.
These include the highest count of distribution of disability aids from a single venue, longest queue of wheelchairs, fitting of largest count of hearing aids, parade of the largest number of wheelchairs together and distribution of the largest number of walking sticks from a single place.
During a three-hour stay in Prayagraj, Prime MinisterModi will distribute disability aids to over 26,000 people including 10,000 differently abled persons and 16,000 elderly people.
A 70-member team of Guinness World Records will arrive in Prayagraj on Friday afternoon and review preparations for setting of the records.
The Prime Minister will also hold a ‘Mann ki Baat’ with 300 farmers at the venue after which he would proceed for Chitrakoot at 1pm.
On Thursday, district magistrate Bhanu Chand Goswami accompanied by senior administrative and police officials reviewed preparations for the PM’s programme.
ThePrime Minister will arrive in an Air Force plane at Bamrauli airport at 10am and will thereafter board a chopper and reach the venue of the programme at Parade ground.
A 70-MEMBER TEAM OF GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS WILL ARRIVE IN PRAYAGRAJ ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND REVIEW PREPARATIONS FOR SETTING OF THE RECORDS.
