HARYANA

Monetary support of ~1,000 per week to the poor Below the poverty line (BPL) families and labourers registered with the Haryana Board of Constructi­on Board to get ~4,500 per month

RAJASTHAN

Social security pension to 7.8 million people for two months -April and May -- in advance ~1,000 as one-time relief to 3.65 million BPL, state BPL and Antodaya beneficiar­ies and 2.5 million constructi­on workers and registered street vendors, who are not covered under the pension scheme

UTTARAKHAN­D

Life insurance cover to health officials, sanitation workers, policemen and media persons The state government has provided ~30 crore to all the 13 districts so as to provide ration to the unregister­ed labourers in the unorganise­d sector The government has decided to provide three months advance ration to at least a million ration card holders through PDS by April first week.

BIHAR

Sanctioned a sum of ~100 crore from the CM Relief Fund to provide food and shelter for daily wage earners The state also announced that all ration card-holding families will get an assistance of ~1,000 each. All doctors and medical staff will get financial incentive equal to their monthly salary for contributi­ng to the state government’s campaign

JHARKHAND

356 Kicchdi Centres set up across the state, where needy are being served a meal at ~5 per plate. The state government has also decided to offer two months ration together to the beneficiar­ies enrolled under the National Food Security Act (NFSA)

WEST BENGAL

Andhra Pradesh government announced home delivery of essential commoditie­s like rice and 1 kg of tur dal to each family, besides cash transfer of Rs 1,000 per family. And supply of dry-ration at home for students studying in all government schools

KARNATAKA

Ration for all cardholder­s for the next two months will be delivered in advance Food to be provided to homeless, beggars and daily wage earners with the help of civic bodies
