LUCKNOW : In a new twist to the proxy teachers’ racket, Anamika Shukla whose name was allegedly misused by the culprits, appeared before education officials in Gonda on Tuesday and accused fraudsters of getting other women recruited using her identity and documents, said Gonda education officials. The proxy teacher racket was exposed when a woman with the name of Anamika Shukla was found enrolled in 25 schools and drawing salary for more than a year.
The officials said she further asserted that she applied for a teacher’s job in the governmentrun Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya chain but did not join due to personal reasons. “Shukla produced her original documents after which she was told to lodge FIR in the matter,” said an official.

Shukla has given a written application to me suspecting unidentified people of misusing her documents, she has been told to register a formal police complaint”.
