Police computer operator booked for rape, harassment
LUCKNOW : A police computer operator has been accused of raping a 26-year-old woman after giving her sedative and making her objectionable video clip to sexually exploit her multiple times by threatening to make it viral on social media.
Police officials said the woman had lodged an FIR of rape and harassment against the computer operator, his mother, sister and a friend at Lucknow’s Mahila Thana of Lucknow in this connection on Monday and further probe in the matter is on.
Assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Hazratganj, Abhay Kumar Mishra said the survivor had accused the computer operator of raping her by giving her sedative.
He said she alleged that the accused’s friend made her objectionable video that they used to blackmail and sexually harass her multiple times in past 18 months. He said the survivor mentioned in the complaint that the accused made her to consume contraceptive pills when she conceived twice during this period.

marry her and they together stayed as couple at rented room for two months when she threatened to complaint the matter to police.
She stated that the accused later backtracked and refused to marry her. She accused that the computer operator’s mother and sister also threatened her with dire consequences when she approached them after coming to know in March earlier this year that his marriage is fixed with some other girl.
The police officials said the FIR under charges of rape, causing miscarriage, voluntarily causing hurt, fraud, criminal breach of trust, criminal intimidation, insult and criminal conspiracy has been registered against the computer operator and three others in this connection.
