Yogi takes feedback in Balrampur, to visit Ayodhya today
LUCKNOW Chief minister Yogi Adityanath began his yet another round of spot visits reaching Devipatan division to get feedback about fight against Covid-19, development work and law and order situation in Balrampur and Gonda on Saturday.
He is scheduled to visit Ayodhya and have ‘darshan’ of Ram Lalla and visit Hanuman Garhi temple besides reviewing development work there on Sunday.
“Yes, chief minister will visit Ayodhya and have darshan of Ram Lala and Hanuman temple on Sunday. He may have discussions about preparations for construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya though he is unlikely to meet people there,” said a senior officer.
Yogi has already visited Gorakhpur, Basti, Azamgarh and Varanasi divisions to review Covid-19 situation there.
On Saturday, he reviewed the Covid-19 situation, development works and law and order situation in Balrampur. He said L-2
Covid hospital should be made functional in the district. He said police should take appropriate enforcement action to ensure people wear masks and not allow more than permissible number of passengers in vehicles to check spread of Sars-CoV-2 there.
Yogi also reviewed the progress on construction of KGMU satellite centre, Saryu Canal project and a cultural centre for Tharu tribe coming up there. He said a strict vigil should be maintained at Nepal border in Balrampur district. He also went for spot inspection of government hospital at Balrampur besides reviewing arrangements to control floods and launch a campaign to check spread of contagious diseases from July 1.
Yogi also went to aerial survey of Elgin dam and flood measures in Gonda. He enquired about the progress of work from officers there. He asked officers for timely completion of works besides ensuring quality. The CM is likely to review the progress of development works and law and order situation in Gonda before leaving for Ayodhya on Sunday.
