Cabinet approves deadline extension for housing projects
LUCKNOW:: Uttar Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday approved extension in deadline for completion of incomplete group housing projects in Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority to give relief to home buyers amid fight against Covid-19.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath presided over the meeting of the state cabinet that met by circulation. An official spokesman refused to confirm or deny the decision taken by the state cabinet. The state government, by an order dated December 5, 2020, had set June 30, 2020 as the deadline to resolve the problems of home buyers and complete the group housing projects. The state cabinet decided to extend the deadline to December 31, 2020 without levying any fee.
COMMITTEE
The state cabinet decided to set up a committee headed by the divisional commissioner to carry out appropriate amendment to drawing/design about beautification and expansion of KV temple. The second phase of the project is estimated to cost about Rs 345.27 crore.
GUARANTEE RAISED
The state cabinet has decided to increase the guarantee to Moiuddinpur unit of UP State Sugar Corporation Limited for taking loan to make timely payment of dues to sugarcane growers from Rs 110 crore to Rs 150 crore.
OTHER DECISIONS
The state cabinet decided to amend the Uttar Pradesh Medical and Health Services Rules 2004 about promotion from post of director to director general.
It also approved draft of Uttar Pradesh Value Added Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2020, as well as an amendment to Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 about delegation of authority.
