ISL, I-LEAGUE TO BE HELD IN ONE VENUE

KOLKATA: With the caveat that Covid-19 could change plans, Kushal Das, AIFF general secretary, said the 2020-21 season would start in September with the I-League second division carried over from last season. Das said AIFF wants to start ISL and I-League after the India-Afghanista­n game on Nov 17. Both will be single-venue competi- tions and could be held without foreigners. All games will be behind closed doors. ISL may be held in Goa and I-League in Kolkata. India team will start training by end August in Bhubaneswa­r ahead of the game against Qatar on Oct 8.
