DM-CDO-CMO PANEL MUST FORMULATE ACTION PLAN, SAYS CM ADITYANATH
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said a committee comprising district magistrate (DM), chief development officer (CDO) and chief medical officer (CMO) should be constituted to formulate an action plan to further improve the work being done to fight Covid-19. He said the committee should be given sufficient financial powers so that it could work in better and effective manner. Meanwhile, UP’s tally of Covid-19 infection cases reached 77,334 on Wednesday with 3,570 more people testing positive for coronavirus, according to official data.

Reviewing the Unlock-2 situation at a high level meeting at his official here, the CM asked senior administrative officers to visit Gautam Buddha Nagar-Bulandshahr, Hapur-Ghaziabad, Meerut-Muzaffarnagar and ShamliSaharanpur districts on Friday to conduct an on the spot inspection of the health services there.
Infrastructure and industrial development commissioner and additional chief secretary (ACS) health in formed the chief minister about their observations about review conducted in Moradabad and Bareilly.
ACS medical education and ACS rural development and panchayat raj also briefed chief minister about their observations after the review conducted in Aligarh and Agra divisions.
He said rapid antigen tests should be done on those found suspected in medical screening
and availability of rapid antigen kits should be ensured in for the purpose in the state.
The CM said ambulance services in UP should be activated. He said online OPD service e-sanjivni should be publicized to ensure maximum benefit of the same to the people. The CM said disbursement of ₹15,000 crore loan, as provided in Prime Minister’s package for MSME sector, should be expedited.
