All should use this period as an opportunity to improve our learning

- ASTHA JOSHI

It’s been six months since this pandemic entered our lives and turned it upside down. Though all of us trying to survive it but still there are many who are losing the battle of life.

Days have been long and unproductive but then one day I realized I had this strong inclination towards photography. With nature in the backdrop and as my main model, I tried taking pictures with best available resources. My first collection being, ‘The sky,’ and then I started working on more ideas and this made me sure that there was no going back and continue with my newborn skill. When I shared my pictures on social media the result was outstanding, everybody praised my work. It was a blissful feeling and reason to enjoy.

Each day I woke up with better plans to improve my new found hobby. My pictures also helped me to increase my followers on social media accounts too and turned me into a blogger. I use my time, making creative portraits too.

Now I am not improving my photography skills but also working on my editing skills as I have been using different editing software to improve my work. I feel blessed that I am at my home and safe during this pandemic and surrounded by my loved ones who care for me.

Lastly, we all should use this period as an opportunity to improve our learning. So, don’t sit idle instead make memories, do creative stuff, work on yourself and spend time with your loved ones. And take care of each other.
