UP GOVT SET TO APPROVE 7 BIG PROJECTS BY PVT COMPANIES

LUCKNOW: The Yogi Adityanath government is all set to approve seven projects of private companies willing to invest in the state.

The infrastruc­ture and industrial developmen­t department of the state government has approved these projects and now they are awaiting the approval from the state cabinet, said Pankaj Kumar, national president, Indian Industries Associatio­n.The companies will come up in Gorakhpur, Chandauli, Barabanki, Mirzapur, Bulandshah­r, Prayagraj and Amethi districts. According to government officials, around 7,000 people are expected to get job from this investment.

The Eco Plus Cement Industries Pvt Limited will set up a cement plant in Prayagraj with an investment of Rs 284 crore. The Eco Plus Cement Chunar Pvt limited will set up a cement plant in Mirzapur by investing Rs 273 crore. The Kanodia Cement Pvt Limited has proposed to set up another cement plant in the state with an investment of Rs 291 crore. The plant will come up in Amethi district.

The Triveni Engineerin­g Pvt Limited will set up a distillery plant in Bulandshah­r district with an investment of Rs 175 crore. The MS Forensic will set up an automobile spare parts manufactur­ing unit in Barabanki by investing Rs 135 crore.

Gallantt Ispat Limited will set up an integrated steel unit with an investment of Rs 863 crore in Gorakhpur. The Gallantt Metal Limited will come up with a steel plant in Chandauli district with an investment of Rs 1,319 crore. This project is expected to fetch job for around 2000 people.
