Akhilesh mocks govt over ease of doing business ranking
LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday hit out at the BJP government over the latest ranking of the state in the ease of doing business. In the ranking, UP has jumped to second position from twelfth in a year.
Claiming that the BJP government’s magic tricks were unparallel, Akhilesh said, “Even the best of athletes cannot perform such feats. But with the BJP anything is possible. It has mastery in deception,” said Akhilesh in a statement issued by his party.
“Because of unplanned, knee-jerk lockdown and wrong policies, the economy is completely derailed. In Gautam Buddh Nagar alone over 300 factories are shut and more are on the verge of shutdown. Where did the Rs 20 lakh crore package vanished? In the entire state manufacturing sector, infrastructure, communication, or hospitality industry have crashed. But UP reached
number 2 in ease of doing business,” he said.
“There is no employment, farmers and youth are killing themselves, law and order is in a shamble, murders and loot are hourly affairs, there is no stopping of kidnappings, corona infection has spiralled phenomenally in six months, but the central government’s rated Uttar Pradesh number 2 in ease of doing business. How?,” wondered Akhilesh.
“Leaders and ministers are glad over the ratings and patting each other back. The central and the state government, for mutual morale boosting, are making such conspiratorial jumps,” said Akhilesh.
