Kanye takes a pi** at the Grammys, literally!
The phrase ‘taking a piss’, was used figuratively, at least up until Wednesday night, when American singer-songwriter and music producer, Kanye West, took it literally and actually took a pi** on one his Grammy (out of the 21 that he has won in total) awards in the toilet, and posted a video on Twitter.
The shocking video came after West went on a Twitter rant, accusing record labels of “trapping” musicians with their record deals and making “money off our work without even trying”. “90% of the record contracts on the planet are still on a royalty A standard record deal is a trap to NEVER have you recoup, and there’s all these hidden costs like the “distribution fees” many labels put in their contracts to make even more money off our work without even trying, ”he wrote on Twitter. West also went to share his contracts, signed with the labels, asking it to be read by “every lawyer in the world”, and promised that he would produce no new music until his demands are met. He reached out to Bono, Paul McCartney, Drake and Taylor Swift to support him.
Earlier, in July, in another Twitter rant, West had said that he was “trying to divorce” his wife, Kim Kardashian West, after which she asked everyone to be “empathetic and kind” towards him because he was “bipolar”.
