LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath said here on Wednesday that OPD services should be started in all the nonCovid hospitals, while following the Covid-19 protocol.

He said the OPD should also be started at primary health centres and community health centres while taking all necessary precautions.

Reviewing the Covid-19 situation at a high level meeting at his residence here, he said consideration should also be given to starting the ‘mukhyamantri aarogya mela’ as this would help in increasing people’s awareness about health. He said the campaign should continue to make people aware about Covid-19.

He said that high risk groups should be targeted for Covid-19 testing and more tests should be carried out using the RTPCR method. He said more testing would help check spread of Covid-19.

Yogi said integrated command and control centres

should be actively operated in all the districts. The district magistrates along with chief medical officers should review the Covid-19 situation by holding meetings every day. He said the review meeting should be held at a Covid hospital in the morning and at the integrated command and control centre in the evening.

The CM said the door to door survey work should be carried out expeditiously. People’s oxygen level should be tested by using oximeter in door to door survey. He said those having a low oxygen level should be sent to hospital for further investigations and their treatment must be ensured.

Yogi said all the investment proposals should be regularly monitored and problems of investors and entrepreneurs should be resolved in a time bound manner. All the facilities to be given in accordance with policies should be provided to them.

He said this should be monitored regularly at district, division and state levels. He also said he would soon review the implementation of memorandums of understanding signed at the Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit2018 and have a meeting with the respective investors.

He said an action plan should be worked out to make the cow shelter homes a source of income. The animal husbandry department should monitor arrangements made at cow shelter homes. Priority should be given to setting up of biogas plants there as this would not only provide fuel but also give quality fertilisers for farmers.

High risk groups should be targeted for Covid-19 testing and more tests should be carried out using the RTPCR method.
