Yogi directive for another dry run of vaccination
CM directs officials for an intensive review of all the preparations for the vaccination
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday gave directives for conducting another dry run of Covid-19 vaccination on January 11.
He also gave directives for an intensive review of all preparations for the vaccination. He said all the guidelines of the central government should be strictly followed during the vaccination and the order set by the Government of India for vaccination should be maintained.
Presiding over a meeting to review the unlock situation at his official residence here, Yogi said the data about the target group for the first phase of vaccination had been fed while work on data feeding for the target group for second phase should be given priority.
He said all the work for the vaccination should be done within the timeline.
He said medicines, medical equipment and backup of oxygen should remain available in sufficient quantity in Covid-19 hospitals. Covid-19 testing work should also be carried out with optimum capacity. He said contact tracing and surveillance played an important role in breaking the chain of Covid-19 infection and the same should be carried out with full vigour.
Yogi said the people should continuously be made aware about prevention from Covid-19 and for this, various publicity mediums along with public address systems should be used comprehensively.
He said the ‘Mukhya Mantri Arogya Mela’ would be organised again from January 10 at rural and urban primary health centres and people should be made aware about measures for protection against Covid.
He said eligible persons should also be given cards of the Ayushman Bharat scheme at these Melas.
