Ensure timely completion of preparations for vaccination: CM
LUCKNOW : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said preparations for Covid vaccination should be completed well in time and there should be regular monitoring of vaccination related work across Uttar Pradesh.
Necessary guidelines should also be given about Covid vaccination from time to time and dry run of Covid vaccination be carried out with all commitment on January 11, he said while reviewing the Covid-19 situation at a high level meeting at his Lok Bhawan office here.
Expressing satisfaction over 2.5 crore Covid tests carried out in the state, the CM said testing was important in breaking the chain of infection. “Ten lakh Covid tests have been carried out by RT-PCR method at King George’s Medical University alone and testing should be carried out to the optimum all over the state,” he said.
He said people should be educated about measures for protection against Covid-19 and emphasised that arrangements in Covid-19 hospitals should remain up to mark. “Adequate availability and backup of medicines, medical equipment and oxygen should be maintained in all Covid hospitals,” added the CM
The chief minister also said that the e-sanjivani app should be appropriately publicised and the facility of online medical consultation be provided to maximum number of people by using the facility. He said preparations for the Mukhya Mantri Arogya Mela and the Pulse Polio Campaign beginning on January 10 and January 17, respectively, should be completed well in time.
