Test all legislators for Covid before budget session: CM
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said all the legislators and employees should be tested for Covid-19 before the forthcoming budget session of state legislature commencing on February 18.
He said the vaccination of all the health workers should be completed on February 4 and 5 under the ongoing Covid vaccination campaign.
He said vaccination of corona frontline workers would be carried out after vaccination of health workers. All preparations for vaccination should be completed well in time and the union government’s guidelines and norms should be strictly followed.
Reviewing the Covid-19 situation at a high level meeting at his official residence here, he said the Covid-19 situation was completely under control. But there was need to maintain strict vigil at every level despite considerable decline in the rate of infection.
He said there should no laxity in following the Covid-19 protocol. Arrangements for protection against and treatment of Covid-19 should remain effectively up to the mark.
He said contact tracing and surveillance work should continue and arrangements in Covid-19 hospitals should remain up to the mark.
Integrated command and control centres set up in districts should remain functional and people should be consistently educated about measures for protection against Covid-19.
He said that Covid-19 testing should be optimized and e-Sanjivani app should be used to provide online consultation to maximum number of people.
