TWO MORE LKO SCHOOLS SUSPEND ONLINE CLASSES

LUCKNOW : Two more prominent schools in the state capital suspended their online classes, taking into account the rising Covid related distress on teachers, students, parents and their families. La Martiniere College announced that all academic and official work will remain suspended till April 30 while St Francis College has decided that all online classes will remain suspended till April 24.

“La Martiniere College, Lucknow, is conscious of the distress that families of its staff and students are experienci­ng due to the second wave of the pandemic. Almost every family is affected. Consequent­ly, staff and parents are hereby informed that all academic and official work will remain suspended till April 30, 2021,” said principal, Carlyle McFarland said in a notice.

“The next module in the distance education mode will be uploaded by the college on Monday (May 3). We wish a speedy recovery to each member of our staff and their families, and to the families of the boys of the college,” according to principal’s message. St Francis College principal Fr Alwyn Moras said that all teaching work would remain suspended till April 24.

The La Martiniere Girls’ College (LMGC) had also suspended its online classes with effect from Friday.

Likewise, St Agnes Loreto Day School has too discontinu­ed online classes. Both the institutio­ns are likely to resume online classes from April 26.
