Clad in a dress made purely of leaves and flowers, she expressed how with small efforts we can reach the goal of zero carbon footprint which would help in restoring our ecosystems. In a video now gone viral on the internet, a man is seen feeding these tasty snacks to a cow and its calf. Needless to say, the cows can be seen enjoying every bit of the spicy street food. HONOURING THE GOOD-DOER
Remember NS Rajappan, a 72-year-old differentlyabled man, who fishes out plastic bottles from the Vembanad lake in Kerala? His photograph by Nandu KS made him a viral sensation last year, and now, Rajappan has been awarded The Supreme Master Ching Hai International’s World Protection Award with a $10,000 cash award and a citation. Kudos to such eco-warriors.
HELPING HANDS
From arranging oxygen in hospitals to keeping track of the well-being of senior citizens, Delhi Police personnel are working tirelessly to ensure citizens’ safety. In a thoughtful gesture, Police Havildar, Lekhraj, physically carried Susheela Kaul, an 81-yearold woman, who suffers from many ailments, to the hospital to get her the Covid-19 vaccine. We salute his efforts.
HELPING THOSE IN NEED
Actor Suniel Shetty has joined hands with a pharmaceutical company for an initiative to ensure that the right medicines reach the underprivileged section of the society. Taking to Twitter in a video, he expressed how in these difficult times, we all are in need of prayers and medication. It’s time to be there for one another and to hold each other’s hand.
