LUCKNOW : Dutch ambassador to India Marten van den Berg on Tuesday praised the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government for the development in the state in the past few years, said a government statement
“I would like to compliment the development ushered in by the UP government in these past few years since I last visited the state in 2019,” said the Dutch ambassador who called on the UP CM on Tuesday. He was particularly appreciative of the way the state had been turned into a favourite destination for investors, said the statement.

Berg also mentioned Dutch collaboration in leather clusters in Kanpur.
The discussions covered environmental issues and various aspects for development of the state in agriculture and floriculture.
The Dutch ambassador also agreed to set up training centres for the dairy farmers in collaboration with the state government, said the statement.
