PET PARENTS HAVE A PAWSOME TIME!
The lush-green garden of a plush township saw a unique gathering of pet parents with their beloved fur kiddies celebrating a day of togetherness.
The event saw the presence of nearly 100 pet-parents and around 20 different breeds including German Shepherd, Labradors, Golden Retriever, Beagle, Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu, Rottweiler and Chow Chow to name a few.
First-time pet-parent Utkarsha Dixit, a fashion designer, says, “I got my golden retriever Abbey few months before the lockdown. He is two year old and this is the first time we are attending such an awesome gathering. He is very adaptive and likes to be in crowd. Pets need lot of love and if you don’t mix with them, they get anxious. Meeting so many nice souls Abbey had a good time.”
She adds that adopting a pet at some point makes you humble towards animals.
Senior orthopeadic surgeon Sandeep Kapoor says, “I have a golden retriever Burrito. It’s because of him that I developed passion and love for the fur buddies. I am a first timer with pets; my daughters motivated us to increase our family members. It has been an unforgettable experience since then.” He along with Sudhir Mishra organised the event.
“Since pandemic, we did not have any such event, so we thought about getting the petparents together. Trust me, Burriot has beenmy biggest stress-buster during the thick of pandemic,” he adds.
Veterinarian Dr Vikas Singh answered the queries related to the pets and shared his experience with the pet parents. Dog lover Anurag Mishra explained pet parenting and the behavioural aspect of pets.
