Yogi for launching SNA radio, online temple info system
The information system should have details about history and route map of temples, says CM

LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday directed launching of community radio titled ‘Jaighosh’ from the studio of Sangeet Natak Academy (SNA), Lucknow.
He also directed development of an integrated online temple information system for the benefit of tourists and pilgrims visiting Uttar Pradesh. He said the information system should have details about history and route map of temples.
The chief minister said the state government was making efforts to conserve the state’s unique cultural identity so that it is known as a cultural destination, as well. Yogi, along with his council of ministers, was viewing a presentation on action plan of religious affairs, tourism, culture and language departments here.
He said a ‘Gaurav Gallery’ (gallery of pride) should be developed in all universities and workshops be organised in coordination with yoga and spiritual institutions for an improvement in the happiness index. He said there was a cultural awakening in India in the 21st century under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi.
Yogi said efforts made in accordance with wishes of the people for construction/observance of Sri Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor, Sri Ram temple in Ayodhya, Ayodhya Deepotsav, Braj Rangotsav, Dev Deepawali of Kashi, Vindhya Dham Corridor, Namish pilgrimage, renovation of Shukra Teerth, reinstallation of idol of Ma Annapurna after 100 years and development of Soron-Sukarkshetra were significant.
He said such efforts have given a new identity to the new Uttar Pradesh in new India. He said Uttar Pradesh was becoming a meeting point for nature, culture and adventure.
He said work on 12 circuits should be completed. These circuits, including Ramayana, Buddhist, spiritualism, Shaktipeeth, Krishna/Braj, Bundelkhand, Mahabharat, Sufi, craft, freedom struggle, Jain, wildlife and eco-tourism have given a new identity to tourism in Uttar Pradesh. The CM said special programmes should be organised at a main historical day of village, city or district on the pattern of Uttar Pradesh Divas. He said a board should be set up for welfare of old-age persons, sants, priests and ‘purohits’ and action should be taken accordingly. He said ‘Bhajan Sandhya Sthal’ should be developed at Prayagraj, Mathura, Gorakhpur and Varanasi.
He said work on four-lane ‘Bhakti Path’ from Ayodhyamain road to Ramjanmbhoomi via Hanumangarhi and ‘Janmbhoomi Path’ from Sahadatganj Naya Ghat to Sugreev Quila should be completed at the earliest. Yogi said steps to set up Surdas Braj Bhasha Academy, Goswami Tulsidas Awadhi Academy, Keshavdas Bundeli Academy and Sant Kabirdas Bhojpuri Academy should be taken in next 100 days. He said a ropeway should be constructed at Barsana and Jhunsi to Triveni Pushp in Prayagraj. He said efforts should be made to set up natural science museum in Hastinapur (Meerut) and Gorakhpur and Sant Ravidas museum and cultural centre in Varanasi.
