SP, BJP workers launch poll campaigns in Lko

LUCKNOW: The workers of the Samajwadi Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party have launched extensive public relations campaigns in support of their respective Lok Sabha candidates from Lucknow. SP’s Ravidas Mehrotra is contesting against the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in the Lucknow Lok Sabha constituen­cy.

Gaurav Singh Yadav, the media in-charge for SP’s Lok Sabha campaign in Lucknow, said that city president Fakhir Siddiqui organised a series of street meetings across all wards of Lucknow.

“The objective is to ensure that SP candidate is introduced to every voter in the city,” he said.

During his campaign, Mehrotra listened to the problems faced by the voters, promising to address their concerns as a priority and to meet the needs of the local populace.

Accompanie­d by party officials, ward councillor­s, former councillor candidates, and dedicated workers, Mehrotra’s outreach efforts underscore the Samajwadi Party’s concerted push to connect with voters at the grassroots level.

at the Halwasiya Court office of the BJP on Thursday.

During the meeting, the party unveiled a comprehens­ive plan, forming teams comprising 10 individual­s at each booth.

These teams, composed of non-political individual­s, are poised to advocate for the party’s policies and welfare initiative­s. With an emphasis on amplifying the voices of the common people, these volunteers are set to engage in grassroots publicity efforts.

Addressing the fervent volunteers, Anand Dwivedi stressed the importance of collaborat­ing closely with party workers to ensure a resounding victory for Rajnath Singh, with a margin exceeding 5,00,000 votes.

Convener Mukesh Sharma highlighte­d the extensive developmen­t initiative­s undertaken by Rajnath Singh, amounting to over Rs 68,000 crore in Lucknow.
