HPPSC to launch mobile app to help civil service aspirants

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will launch a mobile applicatio­n to benefit aspirants competing for exams conducted by the commission.

“The commission has approached National Informatic­s Centre (NIC), state unit to develop the applicatio­n within a month and they have assured to develop it as per requiremen­t of the commission,” said HPPSC chairman K S Tomar, on Thursday.

“It will help in timely informatio­n for applicants especially those residing in far-flung areas of the state. The new app will be approved by the commission prior to execution.

The app will have multiple benefits including notificati­on alerts by the commission on the receipt of applicatio­ns of candidates regarding date, time and venue of examinatio­n, interview and result,” he said.
