HPPSC to launch mobile app to help civil service aspirants
SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) will launch a mobile application to benefit aspirants competing for exams conducted by the commission.
“The commission has approached National Informatics Centre (NIC), state unit to develop the application within a month and they have assured to develop it as per requirement of the commission,” said HPPSC chairman K S Tomar, on Thursday.
“It will help in timely information for applicants especially those residing in far-flung areas of the state. The new app will be approved by the commission prior to execution.
The app will have multiple benefits including notification alerts by the commission on the receipt of applications of candidates regarding date, time and venue of examination, interview and result,” he said.
