Fatehabad bank manager held for taking bribe

HISAR: The vigilance bureau nabbed a land mortgage bank manager red-handed while accepting `18,000 as bribe from a farmer of Fatehabad district on Friday. Complainant Makhan Singh of Chinder village said he had met branch manager, Dharampal Singh, to get a loan of `6 lakh in his wife Krishna’s name. Dharampal demanded `18,000 as bribe. Makhan approached the vigilance department. The team laid a trap and arrested Dharampal while accepting bribe.
