Badal takes feedback about welfare schemes

CHANDIGARH: Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Friday reviewed the progress of pro-poor welfare schemes by contacting the beneficiaries over phone to seek their feedback and get first-hand information about their implementation. A spokesperson of the chief minister’s office (CMO) said Badal telephoned an old woman, a construction worker, labourer and other beneficiaries of such schemes randomly.
