SC dismisses plea against Aamir Khan

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court dismissed on Friday a petition filed against Bollywood star Aamir Khan and his production house for allegedly misusing the national emblem on his TV show Satyamev Jayate. The petitioner alleged Khan had used it for commercial gains. A bench headed by Chief Justice TS Thakur asked the petitioner to move the local police. “We don’t see any merit in it,” it ordered.
