Heavy rains trigger landslides, floods in Arunachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR: Incessant downpour over the past few days triggered landslides and floods in several districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Besides damaging culverts and buildings, the floods and mudslide submerged low-lying areas and a rural link road and disrupted power supply. Seijosa and its adjoining villages in East Kameng district remained cut off from state due to landslides. The rains also led to landslides in many places at Talom Riktak village under Taliha Circle of Upper Subansiri district.
