7 IAS, 4 PCS officers get addl charge, postings

CHANDIGARH: In an administrative reshuffle, seven IAS and four PCS officers got new postings and charge of additional departments as per a government order on Monday. Additional chief secretary, home affairs, Jagpal Singh, got additional charge of additional chief secretary (jails) and Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, who is additional chief secretary (development); additional chief secretary, PWD (B&R) and principal resident commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi, also got the charge as additional chief secretary (removal of grievances and justice).

Secretary (rural development and panchayats) Dipinder Singh, who is also the managing firector of the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board, was given additional charge as secretary (transport).

Sanjay Kumar has been given the charge of principal secretary (NRI affairs).

Abhinav has become special secretary (water supply & sanitation) and HoD (water supply and sanitation department); Amar Pratap Singh Virk has been appointed as special secretary (civil aviation) and director of (civil aviation) and CEO, Punjab State Civil Aviation Council, and director (treasury and accounts). Harpreet Singh Sudan has been posted as SDM, Nabha.
