Haryana readies policy for road maintenance

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has prepared a policy to ensure timely and better maintenance of roads so as to provide safe and convenient usage to road users in the state.

Stating that chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar had approved the proposal, a public works (building and roads) department spokesman on Monday said the Haryana road maintenance policy had been framed keeping in view the fact that the roads that got deformed or disintegrated posed danger to road users.
