Two more SL players injured ahead of 1st Test

Sri Lanka’s injury problems worsened ahead of Tuesday’s opening Test against Australia with fast bowler Suranga Lakmal and all-rounder Dhananjaya de Silva joining the list of possible absentees. Fast bowlers Dhammika Prasad, Dushmantha Chameera and legspinner Jeffrey Vandersay were injured during the recent tour of England while seamer Shaminda Eranga was suspended by the ICC for an illegal bowling action. Sri Lanka captain Angelo Mathews said Lakmal has hamstring stiffness and De Silva was hit on a finger while bowling at practice.
