As they say, keep cool and you can turn hell into heaven.. And we must remind ourselves that the option of keeping cool is very much within us. A ‘cool you’ is the first requirement for any positive, calculated and wellthought-of-action or decision. A person who remains cool in all circumstances is the winner of the game. That is because a cool mind helps one remain in one’s full senses and the consequences of any action/decision are very well taken care of.

Not remaining cool means getting angry. And an angry person not only humiliates and creates problems for others, he/she turns the worst enemy of the self. Good and happy living comes to an end the moment one allows one’s self go into an angry state of mind. We must remind ourselves every morning that being cool is being yourself, your own individuality being kept intact and in full control. That is why former US President Woodrow T Wilson used to say, “One cool judgment is worth a thousand hasty counsels. The thing to do is to supply light and not heat.”

That means coolness gives you power to exercise things that are good and beneficial to mankind. And, as our gurus tell us, the more tranquil we become, the greater is our success, our influence, our power to do good. Just as kindness begets kindness, anger begets anger. One who sees no reason to be cool and calm will see the whole world going against him sooner or later. There is no way that he/she can get away with his/her jolts of anger.

Therefore, let us alert ourselves to remain cool in all circumstances, and be the darling of everyone. And, that is the way to go and be happy and successful in life.
