BJP WILL GET ABSOLUTE MAJORITY IN ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS IN UP, GOA AND UTTARKHAND, SAYS HARYANA BJP LEADER ANIL JAIN

PANIPAT: The two-day state-level executive meeting of the BJP concluded on Monday with most party leaders stressing upon the need for honesty and good governance in the state.

Addressing the gathering, Haryana incharge of the party Anil Jain told party workers that there was no space for ‘hooliganis­m’ in the party and workers should focus on serving people and maintain discipline while making statements in the media.

He said that 78 per cent people of the state have supported the decision of demonetisa­tion but the opposition parties are trying to mislead the people by spreading false informatio­n.

He also assured that the note-ban will help people, especially the poor and backward.

He said that the BJP will get absolute majority in assembly elections in UP, Goa and Uttarkhand and in Punjab the Akali-BJP combine will retain the power. He also said that Haryana will get its share in water and the SYL issue will be solved.

Earlier, speaking on the occasion education minister Ram Bilas Sharma tabled a political resolution which promised to end corruption, nepotism, biased developmen­t in the state.

He said that the present government had taken several steps to get Haryana’s share in water.

Agricultur­e minister OP Dhankar said the BJP government was working for the welfare of all sections of the society. Other party leaders including state president Subhash Barala, MP Ramesh Kaushik, cabinet minister Kavita Jain also addressed party workers and office bearers of the BJP.
