STALIN DUBS PETA ANTI-NATIONAL

-

CHENNAI: DMK working president MK Stalin on Monday sought a ban on animal welfare organisation Peta that is at the forefront of the anti Jallikattu campaign. Calling the organisation anti-national, Stalin also urged the Centre to dissolve the existing management of the Animal Welfare Board of India and constitute a new team with representation from Tamil Nadu. “Only then will it be understood that traditional sports such as Jallikattu are not cruelty but signify the cultural link between man and animal,” Stalin said. — HTC
