DGP’S RESERVE TEAMS SENT TO 8 DISTRICT HEADQUARTERS
The Haryana police on Saturday sent special police teams as the director general of police’s reserve forces to eight district headquarters.
A team of about 50 police personnel headed by an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer and equipped with anti-riot equipment and transportation had been sent to the eight districts, which were worst-hit during the Jat stir last year, said an official spokesperson.
While Kulwinder Singh was sent to head the special police team at Jhajjar, Deepak Gahlawat was sent to Rohtak, Manisha Chaudhary to Panipat, Simardeep Singh to Sonepat, Vinod Kaushik to Bhiwani, Surender Pal Singh to Hisar, Balwan Singh Rana to Jind and Virender Vij has been sent to Kaithal.
