Son injured, Priyanka visits Hyderabad

Congress’s star campaigner in Uttar Pradesh elections Priyanka Gandhi, along with her husband Robert Vadra, briefly visited Hyderabad on Saturday to get their son Raihan treated for an eye-injury.

Raihan, 16, received a serious injury to one his eye while playing cricket last week.

He was brought to the city’s LV Prasad Eye Hospital for a second opinion after being treated initially at AIIMS, New Delhi.

“A team of three doctors examined Raihan and treated him. However, there was no surgical procedure involved in the treatment. He will have to undergo follow-up treatment in Delhi,” a hospital spokesman told HT.
