Haryana govt hikes DA by 7%

The Haryana government has decided that the rate of dearness allowance (DA) admissible to its employees who continue to draw their pay in the pre-revised pay band/grade pay as per 6th pay commission, has been enhanced by 7% from the existing rate of 125% of the pay to 132% with effect from July 1, 2016.

The additional installment of DA payable under these orders would be paid in cash to all government employees with the salary for the month of March 2017 to be paid in April. The payment of arrears of enhanced DA for the months from July 2016 to February 2017 would be made in the month of April 2017. A notification to this effect has been issued by the finance department here on Friday.
