ROHTAK: A 13-year-old boy allegedly hanged himself at his house in Asra Ka Majra village in Rewari on Sunday after a minor quarrel with his sister over the TV remote. The deceased has been identified as Aman, a Class-8 student.

The police said Aman’s elder brother and sisters were visiting home on holiday, when the boy had a quarrel with an elder sister over the choice of watching the TV channel. When Aman snatched the remote from his sister’s hands and refused to return it, their mother reportedly scolded him. Allegedly upset over the incident, he hanged himself in his room. The family said they came to know about it when Aman did not open his room for a long time.
