Haryana govt revises BPL, DPL income norms

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana government has revised the annual income limits of families living below poverty line (BPL) and those below double the poverty line (DPL) in both rural and urban areas of the state for various bank-assisted and National Scheduled Caste Finance and Developmen­t Corporatio­n (NSFDC)-assisted schemes.

The limit of annual income of BPL families will be ₹49,000 (earlier ₹40,500) in rural areas and ₹60,000 (earlier ₹51,500) in urban areas.

Similarly, for families living below DPL, the limit of annual income will be ₹98,000 in place of ₹81,000 in rural areas and ₹1.2 lakh in urban areas.
