Tension in Bareilly after miscreants damage mazar

Tension gripped Baradari area of Bareilly after a mazar (shrine) was damaged on Monday morning. Additional police force was deployed in the area and district administration officials assured Muslims of strict action against the culprits. “The wall and the dome of the mazar near the cantonment boundary was destroyed by miscreants in the wee hours of Monday,” said Sameer Saurabh, superintendent of police, Bareilly . “A complaint has been registered at Baradari police station and a team has been formed to investigate the matter.”
