Four IPS, 80 PPS officers transferred

Punjab Police on Tuesday ordered transfers of 84 officers, including four IPS officers.

Three IPS officers who got new posting orders were Gurpreet Singh Gill, superintendent, Kapurthala Central Jail, Harjinder Singh, commandant, 9th battalion, Punjab Armed Police, Amritsar, Sandeep Kumar Garg, ADCP-2, Ludhiana, and Sukhwant Singh Gill, AIG, personnel posted at Chandigarh.

PPS officers who were prominently placed included Davinder Singh as superintendent, Central Jail, Amritsar, Gagan Ajit Singh, DCP, investigations, Ludhiana, Rajinder Singh, DCP, Jalandhar, and Charanjit Singh, ADCP-1, Amritsar.

Harjit Singh has been posted as SP, investigation, Tarn Taran, Parveen Kumar as, ADCP-1, Jalandhar, Harinder Singh as SP (headquarters) ADCP-1, Ludhiana, Jasdev Singh, ADCP-4, Ludhiana, Satnam Singh, ADCP, investigations, Ludhiana, Balkar Singh, SP, investigations, Jalandhar rural, Jagat Preet Singh, SP (H), Amritsar rural, Jaspal Singh, SP, investigations, Pathankot, and Lakhbir Singh, SP, investigations, Ludhiana (rural).
