7 IAS, 27 PCS officers shifted

The Punjab government on Thursday transferred seven IAS officers and 27 PCS officers in the state.
Among the IAS officers, Vikas Garg has been appointed as special secretary, agriculture, with additional charge of director general, agriculture, horticulture and soil conservation, besides additional charge of managing director, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation.
Services of Basant Garg have been placed before the local bodies department for posting as commissioner, municipal corporation, Jalandhar in addition to chief administrator, Jalandhar Development Authority.
C Sibin has been posted as director, rural development and panchayats, with additional charge of special secretary in the same department, in addition to secretary, Punjab State Commission for NRIs with additional charge of joint development commissioner, integrated rural development, and commissioner MGNERGA. Anandita Mitra has been appointed as director, food and civil supplies, and chief executive officer, Punjab Energy Development Authority.
Shivdular Singh Dhillon becomes special secretary-cum-director, tourism; managing director, Punjab Tourism Development Corporation with additional charge as CEO, Punjab Heritage Tourism Board, and Virasat-e-Khalsa Foundation.
Bhupinder Pal Singh has been appointed as ADC (D), SAS Nagar, and Preeti Yadav as subdivisional magistrate (SDM), Malerkotla. Among PCS officers, Amarpal Singh has been posted as additional transport commissioner, additional secretary, transport, with additional charge of secretary, Punjab State Information Commission.
Bakhtawar Singh has been posted as ADC (D) Nawanshahr; Vimal Kumar Setia as secretary, regional transport authority ,Patiala; Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa as deputy secretary, defence services welfare, Parneet Shergill as ADC (G) Fatehgarh Sahib; Ranjit Kaur as ADC (G) Nawanshahr; Sandeep Rishi as ADC (D) Fazilka, and Rajesh Tripathi as additional excise and taxation commissioner, Patiala.
Gurpreet Singh Thind’s services have been placed before the transport department for posting as additional managing director, Pepsu Road Transport Corporation. Dalwinderjit Singh has been appointed as joint director, Mandi board and Lakhmir Singh as director, higher education.
Services of Gurjit Singh have been placed before the housing department for posting as estate officer, Amritsar Development Authority. Jaspal Singh Gill has been posted as assistant excise and taxation commissioner, Ludhiana and Pooja Syal as SDM Amritsar, with additional charge as SDM Majitha;
Services of Nidhi Kalotra have been placed before the housing department to be posted as estate officer, Bathinda Development Authority.
Amit has been posted as SDM Pathankot, with additional charge of joint commissioner, MC Pathankot; Rajpal Singh as SDM Shahkot, Sandeep Singh Garha as SDM Khanna and Varinder Pal Singh Bajwa as SDM Gidderbaha.
Services of Navraj Singh Brar have been placed before the housing department for posting as esate officer, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority.
