Bid to loot ATM in Karnal

: A group of unidentified persons made a failed attempt to break into an automated teller machine (ATM) of Canara Bank at Gharaunda town of Karnal district on late Saturday night. Though the miscreants damaged the ATM, they failed to access the cash loaded in it. According to police, the incident took place on late Saturday evening when there was no security guard at the ATM. Gharauda police station incharge Manoj Kumar said the police have registered a case of theft against unidentified persons and started investigation into matter.
