CREATE FARM RELIEF FUND

Farmers are ending their lives owing to their inability to repay loans. Benefits of welfare policies are not reaching them. They are exploited by commission agents at procurement centres. Politicians make big promises to them, but never fulfil these. After all, even the state government coffers are empty, and the Centre has washed its hand of the issue of debt waiver. The Punjab government should create a special farm relief fund and appeal to the people to donate to it. Nirmal Singh Chaggar
